BESS Weekly: domestic content deals stack up for 2028 to 2030

LG Energy Solution Vertech and Qcells North America signed a multi-year agreement covering 5GWh of US-made lithium-ion BESS projects scheduled for 2028 to 2030, with LG manufacturing LFP containerized systems in Michigan and Qcells producing modules in Georgia.

Natixis acted as sole lead arranger on a $431 million construction financing for NineDot Energy's portfolio of 28 distributed-scale BESS assets across New York City, totaling 124MW/494MWh.

e-STORAGE, Canadian Solar's storage arm, signed agreements with Sunraycer to supply and service two standalone ERCOT battery projects totaling 503MWh DC in Franklin County, Texas.
