GridStor closed a $120 million financing package for its 150MW/300MWh Gunnar Reliability Project in Hidalgo County, Texas, with NORD/LB leading and Siemens Financial Services joining as a first-time lender. Contracted revenue plus world-class lenders is the template for disciplined BESS development.

Cypress Creek Renewables acquired the Steel River project from Swift Current Energy, a 2.45GW solar and 720MW/2.9GWh storage development in Arkansas, at $4.5 billion in total capital cost.

Peak Energy agreed with RWE Americas to pilot its passively cooled sodium-ion system in Eastern Wisconsin, MISO's first deployment of the technology, cutting lifetime storage costs by an estimated $70/kWh.
