Samsung SDI America has signed a 1 GWh supply deal with Fengate-owned IPP Alpha Omega Power, taking their total to 1.5 GWh, with cells and modules from StarPlus Energy in Kokomo, Indiana. The same week, LG Energy Solution signed a non-binding MOU with Energix to explore supplying 500 MWh in the US and 1.5 GWh in Europe.

Austin Energy has contracted up to 200 MW of two-hour storage from Jupiter Power, with commercial operation in 2030 and no construction or maintenance cost to the utility. The deal takes Austin's storage portfolio to 340 MW, with Austin keeping the price hedge while Jupiter carries the build.

Madison Energy Infrastructure and CORE Electric Cooperative are building a 50 MW / 200 MWh Tesla Megapack portfolio across three Colorado sites, with commercial operation targeted by September 2027. CORE will use the storage to add distribution capacity for load growth in its service territory.
